With a fragrance from Estee Lauder we are never worried that we will be shocked or disappointed, their fragrances are like a reliable friend that you know will be there.... never casting judgment, just there when you need them.
Our first impression is of a big burst of fruity-floral all at once - the fruity element is very fleeting perhaps as the only fruity element in this perfume is red berries. Then comes the floral..... a lot of floral. Rose, lily of the valley, lilac (our aroma of the week), peony and jasmine to name a few all come together with green notes to give the feeling of passing by a large vase of flowers - a pretty and delicate scent with the stems and leaves all playing their part in the delicate scent being thrown around the room.... just like when you walk into a florists where you don't just get the scent of the flowers, but stems and damp foliage too all swirling around to give a fabulous feeling.
It's a truly feminine fragrance that could not possibly offend if the person sat next to you on the train was wearing it. If we were limited to having only six fragrances on our dressing table (oh what kind of hell would we be living of that were the case!) and had to include a floral we would be more than happy to choose this one.
Rarely have we been taken aback by a fragrance from Estee Lauder, they are safe, tame, trusted even.... .but we all have days where we don't want to make a bold statement with our fragrance but go about our business knowing that our reliable friend is close by....
