Idole d’Armani by Giorgio Armani

Today I am wearing Idole d’Armani by Giorgio Armani.

Sweet with a jagged sharp vein running throughout.  Juicy fruit entwined with a soft florals.  Woody  with a spicy edge.  This perfume seems to deliver a bit of everything!

The opening is pear, orange, ginger and artemisia which gently give way to middle notes of rose, jasmine and saffron.  Bringing up the rear are patchouli, vetiver and benzoin.

I’d say that overall, I’m picking up something sweet and fruity, but it isn’t cloying or dripping in sugar.  The thin spicy line that runs through it threading itself around the other notes like a thin band of cotton add an interesting appeal to this perfume.  I find it quite intriguing.
