Hot Water by Davidoff

This week we have been reviewing Hot Water by Davidoff.

The boys in the office are enjoying this one.  They love Cool Water (also by Davidoff) so expectations were high.

This one is good but possibly not as good as the celebrated Cool Water.  It is herbal and hot with a warm dry down.  It is bold and exudes an air of almost standoffish self-confidence.  Whilst we like it, the females in the office didn't think it had a 'let me muzzle into your neck' layer which we always enjoy (sorry boys!).

Cleverly layered to give you heat all the way through, the opening is a scorching paprika that could bring tears to your eyes.

Settling into a basil and absinthe (our smell of the week) layer to give hints of herbs, woods and aniseed, the scent probably doesn't flourish until 20 minutes in when the warmth and depth of the benzoin and patchouli start to seep in and entwine themselves around the skin.  Yes, it definitely gets better as you wear it.

It's enjoyable but follows in the shadow of its cooler cousin.
