Sauvage by Dior

Harry has been particularly happy this week as we have chosen Dior's Sauvage for our perfume of the week.

Puzzled by, but happy to watch, the advert for Sauvage where Johnny Depp decides to bury his massive jewellery collection - we aren't entirely sure what that has to do with the aftershave apart from the fact that the scent is supposed to conjure up wild open spaces, rocky landscapes and hot sunshine.

So what do we get when smelling it?  Apart from the comments that we'd enjoy our men to be wearing this (one man each, we aren't being greedy) we get sharp spices, dirty citrus and a smooth woody note.  A very good combination.

The perfume blurb tells us that it has only three individual scents - bergamot, pepper and amboroxan (our aroma of the week).  Ambroxan is a sexy (think iso e super) aroma that enjoys the same genre as ambergris - smooth and rich with a sweet undertone.

Actually, that's how we like our men too - smooth and rich with a sweet undertone!
