Allure by Chanel

Today I am wearing Chanel’s Allure.

Goodness it’s a lovely perfume.  So complex, multifaceted and alluring (no pun intended!).

It has a fresh element, a woody element, a floral element and a fruity element too.  All of which are happy to work together to create a wondrous multi-layered amazing perfume.

It opens with a blast of fresh lemon, mandarin and bergamot that moves swiftly into a softer peach layer.  As my nose is adjusting to peach the gentle florals of peony, magnolia, water lily, rose, jasmine and orange blossom breeze in and surround my senses with a bouquet of fabulousness.

To ensure the scent isn’t too floral, it now offers me woods of sandalwood and vetiver with a vanilla layer finishing the perfume off rather triumphantly.

A typical Chanel classic – rich, complex, sensuous and elegant.
