The name of this perfume would imply that the fragrance contained within is soft and gentle and will make you feel as if you are being cradled in something delicate like goose down.
Top notes of mandarin, bergamot and orange blossom are quite quickly overwhelmed by the floral notes which quickly come to the fore - jasmine, peony (our aroma of the week), ylang ylang and tiare flower (a species of gardenia grown in Tahiti) give quite a powdery, heady aroma. We waited a while for the base notes to come through, and waited and waited, but it's floral all the way with this one, those beautiful floral notes just won't budge over!
We'd say this would be a safe one to give as a gift for any floral lover - it doesn't rock our perfume world, it doesn't change very much on the skin but neither is it going to offend anyone as you walk in the room. It's not an old fashioned floral, could easily and happily be worn by the young fresh-faced floral lovers among us as well as those (slightly!) less so.
We'd say this fragrance does live up to its name, we imagine the wearer being a gentle, quietly spoken soul who will wrap their kindness around all who come near.
