Today I am wearing Au Masculine by Lolita Lempicka
I’m picking up a strong scent of liquorice, big and bold
with a sweet undertone. If I shut my
eyes I can quite happily believe I’m holding a bag of liquorice laces.
Notes of anise, wormwood and basil have united to serve me
the liquorice notes. Along the way they
have united with violet, ivy, cedar and sandalwoods and labdanum. The gourmand notes of praline, vanilla, rum,
almond and tonka underpin the perfume adding the edible element.
I’ve moved on from liquorice laces and now I have a bag of
purple liquorice torpedoes on my wrist. They bring back memories. …. But as much as I’d
love to munch on some now, I’m not sure I’d be drawn to this as a perfume on a
man (or woman). It’s funky and fun, but ……
let me eat torpedoes instead (purple ones).
